Patients interested in PRP treatment should avoid the use of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medications (NSAIDs) for a minimum of two weeks prior to the procedure and 4 weeks after. Similarly, PRP treatment should not be given within 4 weeks after a cortisone injection.
