Sami F. Rifat, MD, FACSM
Dr. Rifat is a board certified Sports Medicine specialist and Fellow of the American College of Sports Medicine.
He is a native of Southeastern Michigan and grew up in Novi. Dr. Rifat received his under graduate degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and earned his medical degree from The Chicago Medical School. He returned to Ann Arbor where he completed his residency in Family Medicine at the University of Michigan. Though unusual for a wolverine, he received his Sports Medicine specialty training at The Ohio State University.
Dr. Rifat has been in private practice in the Rochester area since 1994. He currently serves as a Team Physician for US Figure Skating, Notre Dame Preparatory School, Bloomfield Hills Schools, and the Brooks-Hansons Distance Project.
